As we prepare to say goodbye to our summer interns, we're filled with gratitude for the opportunity we've had to invest in Ava, Brice, and Joseph over the past several weeks. It's been a joy to watch them grow together as a team while experiencing life and ministry in New England's urban neighborhoods!

Throughout the summer, they've worshiped with Faith Community Church, served at Iglesia Cristiana Centrados en el Evangelio, and partnered with visiting church teams as they shared the hope of the gospel through outreach. They've also stepped into the everyday rhythms of inner-city ministry through reading, discussions with our staff, riding the city bus, attending court cases, and other immersive experiences that have given them a deeper understanding of the communities we're called to serve.
Most importantly, they've been discipled by our staff and encouraged to see how the gospel transforms not only the communities around them, but their own hearts as well.

As they wrap up their internship and prepare for what's next, would you join us in praying for them? Please pray that they will develop convictions about church planting for inner city ministry, develop Christ-like compassion for the overlooked, and develop Christ-like character as they see the gospel at work in their own hearts.

We're thankful for the time we've shared with Ava, Brice, and Joseph, and trust that God will continue to use what He's taught them this summer for years to come.
