We are so thankful for our time at Cross Con 2026. It was a joy and a privilege to be part of a gathering centered on God’s Word, God’s heart for the nations, and God’s chosen means of gospel proclamation: the local church.
Throughout the conference, we had more than 150 meaningful conversations about the Haynes School of Ministry internship program, along with dozens of encouraging conversations with potential church partners. Each interaction reminded us that God is actively stirring hearts and calling men and women to lives of faithful obedience and gospel-centered service.
As we reflect on our time at Cross Con, a few key encouragements stand out:
- We can be deeply encouraged by seeing thousands of young men and women gather for the purpose of hearing from God's Word about God's heart for the nations through God's means of gospel proclamation: the local church.
- We can be deeply encouraged about the serious-mindedness of these young men and women who care not just that the lost are saved, but that Christ is glorified in their salvation.
- We can be deeply encouraged by ministries lined up next to one another as conference exhibitors not competing for students, but supporting one another—even walking students over to other ministries to introduce them. Praise God for gospel collaboration.
As we look ahead, we invite you to join us in prayer. Please pray for fruitful follow-up from these conversations, and that God would continue to lead passionate men and women to NEU in the season ahead.
Thank you for walking alongside us and partnering with us in what God is doing through His Church.
